Artist's Comments
So.... it's Okami. In print form. I've been working on this for the past... month or so in my printmaking class. It's a lino reduction cut. At first I wanted to print everything out, even the lines. I had it all carved away up to that point. (Which was a bitch to do, even though it was lino and pretty big.) But I decided against that, and to just ink the black and red lines on by hand. (Well, a brush helped too.)
Again, I apologize for the kind of terrible quality. I took this with my camera and I used my desk lamp for lighting. So that's why there's a huge light spot in the middle of the image. But... it kind of looks cool that way. *shrug* OOOOOOkami! |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
